Lesson 001: Back To Basics

First, I sent the invite. I wanted the inaugural FHWQ Supper Club event to start with a dress code of classic black and white. The rules are simple (shoutout to EPIC stylist Bryon Javar): Adhere to the theme but do it your way!

Seven hand selected women arrived promptly *ahem* (for the most part) at 7:30 pm. Guests were escorted to the private dining room of Sozo Sushi Lounge where I anxiously waited.

Appetizers Rating: 9/10

Gyoza: lightly seared and flavorful CHICKEN dumplings

Crispy Calamari: large cuts; shareable; not overly chewy; we re-ordered another round

Spicy Garlic Edamame: delicious; healthy alternative; not spicy enough to me

Drinks Rating: 8/10

Just Peachy: Table favorite; refreshing and fruity with a punch

Asian Pear Martini: perfect compliment to the extensive sushi menu; hard to taste the pear element

French 75: A classic drink; prepared well but not special

Entree Rating: 8/10

Miso Soup: I'm obsessed with miso soup and there's did not disappoint! Hot and full of umami.

Chef's Fried Rice: exactly what you'd expect. Wouldn't order as an entree.

Filet Mignon Platter: OMG! The filet mignon was so juicy and tender. Plenty of food for two or one really hungry person.

Chilean Sea Bass: Cooked perfectly although a little under seasoned for my taste. Wasabi mashed potatoes were unique.

The conversation was so good that we didn't want to leave. I made it to my car at 11 pm full of good food and AMAZING energy. The service was great and the terrace is a perfect photo opportunity.... but I know you're here for the LOOKS! Without further ado....

THANK YOU to all theses ladies for making the first one the best one. For a chance to attend the next one, subscribe on the homepage! Next date: Aug. 28th, 2018!
