Hello. Hi. What's UP?! I feel like I only talk to you (whoever ya'll are) every blue moon and I'm looking to change that. I'm back again with the <insert drumroll> ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY post!
Thaaaaat's right! I made.... WE made it to a whole year. I've learned SO much which I will expand on in a separate post. For now let's get to the recap:
I chose to return to the restaurant where I first had a dinner. I am so glad I did! Sozo Sushi is an absolute pleasure for dining! It's tucked away and chic. My favorite thing about this eatery is the service. From booking the reservation to arrival to the wait service, the staff and owners are incredibly warm and helpful. They reserved the party room a month in advance and were super friendly when I arrived to set up. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for happy hour, cute dates, and special celebrations.
APPETIZERS: 10/10
We started out with drinks and light bites....

ENTREES: 8/10
Guests dined on different made to order sushi rolls as well as hot plates. Most loved their dishes. I had the fried rice which comes out pretty plain for the price. The shrimp in my rice was slightly overcooked and the other guest who had it did not enjoy it.
DESSERT: 10/10
Confession time:
My guests are spoiled by the cookies I feature in the gift bag and we have stopped ordering dessert! I pledge to do better starting....... NEXT month.

Every dinner we laugh... sometimes cry. This dinner, I challenged diners to BOSS UP! I keep conversations confidential but *whew* power moves abound.
